What is MessageMedia, and why should I pay Agent Texting to manage my account?
MessageMedia is our SMS delivery platform, used to send and receive text messages efficiently. When you subscribe to our lead generation and follow-up services, your MessageMedia account is included in the cost—no extra fees. Plus, we handle the entire setup and management for you, allowing you to focus on more important tasks.
How many text messages do you send out on my behalf per day?
The number of messages sent depends on your subscription plan. Billing occurs every 30 days, so if you choose a 10,000 texts per month plan, we’ll send approximately 400 messages per day (excluding weekends) on your behalf. The daily message limit scales accordingly with higher or lower plans.
I have tried these services before and have experienced additional costs for going over my limit. How do I avoid this?
Our automated monitoring system ensures you never exceed your limit. In the rare event an overage does occur, we cover the cost—so you’ll never have to worry about unexpected charges.
What if someone receiving a text message complains about spam. Could my personal phone number become black listed or be adversely effected?
No, your personal phone number is never used for outbound messages and will not be affected in any way. Additionally, we closely monitor incoming messages and promptly remove any numbers upon request. However, complaints are rare, as most real estate agents are willing to receive inquiries about available properties.
How many different messages can I set up to be sent, and how long can they be?
You can set up an unlimited number of messages with a maximum of 160 characters. Here are a few examples:
- Hey [first], It’s [agent_first] at [company]. Your fixer-upper buyer. Do you have anything in your pipeline in need of a remodel and a quick cash sale?
- Hey [first], It’s [agent_first] at [company]. I’m checking in to see if you happen to have any listings in need of a full remodel or update?
- Hey [first], It’s [agent_first] at [company]. Your fixer-upper buyer. Have anything that needs repairs or updating? You’ll keep both sides of the commission.
How will I know if an agent responds to my automated text message with an opportunity?
Our system automatically forwards any incoming messages to your cell phone and also includes the agents name and phone number.
